Introducing our new single search box!

The new search box is located at the top of the page just below our navigation bar. Click the "Research" button, type a search topic, and then click the magnifying glass.

All patrons with a valid library card will be able to do a single search that pulls information from over fifty (50) databases, the library’s print and digital collections, and other outside sources such as video or audio clips from the Internet. Students of all ages can pull full text research articles complete with citation information.

The Library provides a list of databases for patrons wishing to search a specific database.

  • Patrons interested in genealogy research should use the list of databases, selecting genealogy in the subject area box.
  • Patrons interested in financial research with databases like Morningstar and Valueline should use the list of databases.

The book for October - November is Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury.

Dandelion Wine Book Cover Ray Bradbury's moving recollection of a vanished golden era remains one of his most enchanting novels. Dandelion Wine stands out in the Bradbury literary canon as the author's most deeply personal work, a semi-autobiographical recollection of a magical small-town summer in 1928.

It's always available for download from Freading.
